A Joint Training Workshop of the CPE OPTIMAL: Emphasis on Geriatric Neurology for Continuous Care at Kaohsiung Medical University was held by the Department of PT. In total 6 trainees came from universities and hospitals of Vietnam were here to receive related training.
2024.05.04-05.05 Specialist Training Workshop
Department of PT, collaborating with Taiwan Physical Therapy Association, held a specialist training workshop: “Geriatric Neurology with an emphasis on Falls Prevention” by Professor Carol Lewis. Professor Lewis currently serves on the Medical Faculty at George Washington University as an adjunct professor in the Department of Geriatrics, she is also an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Geriatric Certified Specialist, Editor-in-Chief of the journal Topics in Geriatric Rehabilitation

Dr Shih-fen Hsiao held courses of stroke rehabilitation and dementia care, and demonstrated treatment of stroke patient at Hai Duong Medical Technical University and University Hospital for KMU USR and TPTA’s CPE OPTIMAL project.
